I directed these two ads for web and TikTok/Instagram Reels. The Nike Waffle One is an homage to one of the first track shoes Nike ever created back in 1972: the original Waffle. Legend has it that inspiration struck Olympic track coach Bill Bowerman as he watched his wife make waffles one morning, and he later used that same waffle iron to make a revolutionary new rubber shoe sole.
